Distance Learning Orientation

Distance Learning courses for Summer 2013 semester will become available on May 16, 2013.  An online orientation is required for all students taking Internet or Hybrid courses and you must complete the online orientation even if you have done so in a previous semester. Students will be withdrawn from their DL courses if the orientation is not completed by May 20 (Session 1), May 22 (Regular Session), and June 25 (Session 2), to complete the Orientation Agreement/Quiz. If you have multiple courses online, you must complete the orientation agreement/quiz for EACH COURSE.  The quiz will cover information pertaining to the course syllabus and agreement to the terms listed in the orientation. If the college is closed for inclement weather, you will still need to log into your courses (online/hybrid) to complete the orientation and work on course assignments. Online courses are NOT closed for inclement weather. You are expected to complete coursework regardless of whether the campus is opened or closed. Caution: Although you have until May 20 (Session 1), May 22 (Regular Session), and June 25 (Session 2) to complete the DL quiz/agreement instructors may have other assignments due before this date. Please keep in mind you will not have access to your other assignments until you complete DL quiz/agreement.
